Day 10, 11, 12 East Coast Coastin’
Philadelphia – Boothbay ME
I’ve decided to put these 3 days in one post as we were traveling for most of them. Each night we stayed at a Harvest Host property. Harvest Host is an app that lets you know a it wineries, breweries and farms that let you set up your camper for free. There’s no power or water. You are expected to spend about $20 on the merchandise they gave for sale. At wineries and breweries that is easy.
The first night was Norbrook Farm Brewery in Connecticut. This place had walking trails do we did one of those before we went to the brewery. Craig lay on the grass for a bit beside the camper and he got a tick. No more laying in the grass.
The next stop was Hardwick Winery in Massachusetts. It was a great site. They had wine slushees and live music.
The last stop before getting to Arcadia was Boothbay Brewery in Maine. Craig raved about the vanilla porter beer they had there. He said it was worth the drive back here just to have the beer. We also had a wander around the little village of Boothbay Harbor.
