Havana is definitely a place I would like to return to and spend an extended amount of time there. On this visit we had all of 6 hours to explore. Havana was a port stop on a 4 day cruise we had taken out of Florida. We booked the cruise late so most of the good shore excursions organized by the cruise were full. We decided to organize something ourselves. there are multiple companies that cater to the cruise tourists and at 1/3 or even 1/4 of the price of the cruise excursions.
We did a 2 hour walking tour of Old Havana, lunch at local restaurant and then a 2 hour classic car tour. It gave us an excellent overview of the city.
