December 27-30 2018
This was a very quick trip to Chicago on our way to the Wisconsin Dells with our good friends the DeWitts. We had 2 days to enjoy the city. The first stop was The Bean in Millennium Park and a little bit of ice skating.
We then had a very short walk to The Art Institute of Chicago where we got to see some famous paintings.
Navy Pier was a brisk (because it was cold) 30 minute walk. Along the way were some interesting art instalments.
The second day while the other visited a science museum Craig and I decided to wonder around the city. It was clean and crisp and a little magical with a sprinkling of new snow everywhere.
